This tool is on the roadmap but not available yet. The rest of the catalogue is live — you can keep working while this one ships.

How to use the PDF to Excel

1

Choose your file

Select a PDF from your device. The file is read directly in the browser, so you can confirm the page count and size before continuing.

2

Set the options

Pick the pages, order or naming you need. Options are applied to a copy, leaving the original untouched.

3

Process and download

Run the action, review the preview or file summary, and save the result. If several files are produced, download them together as a ZIP.

What PDF to Excel is for

Detect tabular regions on each page and export them as XLSX or CSV rows. Works best with digital PDFs that contain real text rather than scans.

The PDF to Excel is part of the PDF collection on ToolFlow. It is designed for one concrete job: pull tables out of PDFs into spreadsheets. Everything runs client-side, so you can use it with sensitive material without creating a copy on someone else's server.

Common use cases

  • Convert a price list
  • Extract bank statements
  • Rebuild a data appendix

Good to know

  • No account is required, and there is no usage limit on the browser tool.
  • Processing happens locally. Files are read from disk and the result is written back to your downloads folder.
  • Results are reproducible: the same input and options produce the same output, with no hidden server round-trip.
  • If the tool needs a live data source, the page states it explicitly instead of silently failing.

PDF to Excel FAQ

The questions people ask before using this tool.

No. The PDF tools process the file inside your browser using client-side JavaScript. Nothing is transmitted, stored or logged, and closing the tab clears the data.
